I ordered this because I had a rib tear. When I opened the package, I immediately smelled a strong odor. And it's made in China. The outgassing is terrible. I hung it in front of the fan for an hour and the whole apartment stunk. Now it's hanging in the sun on my balcony after spraying it with natural deodorant. I hope the smell goes away because I won't be able to wear it until it's gone and I may have to return it. I bought it to give me extra support in my work (as a masseur). I was also hoping for something stretchier and thinner. But if the smell goes away, it will probably work. But it's excellent.
