This heat cap is just ok. It does heat up easily in the microwave, the product comes with a starter pack of plastic caps to wear under the heat cap, and you get a nylon bag to store the cap in.I didn’t love it because it takes at least 2 minutes to get it warm enough, the heat doesn’t last more than 10 minutes, I have to keep putting it in the microwave to keep it warm for a 30 min. mask treatment, and it feels heavy on the head and not at all light and comfortable as other reviewers have noted. So- it does work as a heat cap but I didn’t find it to be all that comfortable or effective for a 20 to 30 minute hair treatment.
