I had multiple surgeries on my foot and right ankle so Crocs made the perfect shoe because the toe box is extra wide (to accommodate swollen feet) and the shoe outsole provides arch support and solid cushioning per inch. This cushioning helps people with arthritis in their knees or a sore back in a way no indoor shoe can ever help. Don't leave your Crocs in direct sunlight or in freezing temperatures or they will shrink or otherwise deteriorate as they are made of a rubber-like material.
