I very much doubted it, but I tried. The first wash I did with them - sheets - was so fluffy I was amazed. As if I were drying them outside on a clothesline. I've tried a different boot - clothing this time - and that works too. I was really surprised and pleased that I tried these and that they work. I'm not sure how long they will last but I think I'll find out. Not sure how I would say try like me. I don't think you will be disappointed. I am very happy that I no longer have to buy expensive fabric softeners. Not only because of the price, but also because it's packed with chemicals. And the last great thing is that I live on the 3rd floor and now I don't have to lug bottles of fabric softener up the stairs. It's a win-win situation for everything.
