Has a high concentration of glycolic acid. Do not use more than recommended. I say this because I tried. I have a very high cell turnover. I usually use Apricot Physical Peel daily with no irritation. So I figured I could use this daily without a physical exfoliator and I'd be fine. I was wrong. Even without a physical exfoliation, I can't use it more than every other day, and it works best when it's a little less frequent. Like 2-3 times a week. I used Mario Badescu Glycolic Acid Toner. I could use it every day, so it's significantly stronger. It works great but should be used with caution. Glycolic toner is the only type I use with a cotton swab. I usually apply toner using the Asian "pour onto hands and dab” method. I find that cotton with something like glycolic acid seems to kind of quench the dead cells it sorts out. There seems to be some sediment in the vial so I always shake it before use. The bottle is a beautiful frosted pink glass with an ombre effect. The lid is actually like aluminum. This is a really good bottle. It took some trial and error to find my balance, but I really like this toner. I definitely recommend it. Please click the button if this information was helpful.
