Anyone who has worn stud earrings knows that sometimes we lose an earring (hopefully not the earring itself). I had several pairs of 14K cleats that I wasn't wearing because I lost one and it was a hassle to pick one up and move it from pair to pair so I ordered these. They are not flimsy, according to the seller they are made in the USA, they worked on all the earrings I needed them for and they arrived within the promised time. My problem is that (according to the product description) they are made of 14k gold. . It is not true. Upon closer inspection with a 10x loupe they are stamped 1/20 14K. This language means they are either gold filled or gold plated. They are NOT 14k gold. I keep them because I need them but I will definitely NOT buy from this seller again as I don't trust them.
