Replaced the frequently failing OBD2 connector on my 2013 FRS. Used a multimeter and dupont wire to identify all the wires, then found that the standard connector only used 7 wires. Save time and find out what you really need. For FRS it was 4, 5, 6, 8, 13, 14 and 16. I had two red wires and had to switch them thinking I might have blown a fuse or something. A friendly reminder to disconnect the battery when changing plugs - there is 12V and the ground is exposed if you simply strip the wires and start soldering. I won't post my specific wire configurations as you should 100% test your own, it seems every review is different and you shouldn't risk assuming yours will fit everyone.
