Great laptop with a few quirks

Let's face it, put aside any preconceptions that this is a bad laptop and throw it out the window. I will analyze the pros and cons. The pros first because I feel they far outweigh the cons. Pros: - Great tactile keyboard that's comfortable to type on - Much thinner than on pictures and YouTube videos. They don't do it justice. - Simple and intuitive Predator Sense software for customizing performance settings. - This trackpad is great. Sure, it's not a Macbook trackpad, but it's nice nonetheless. - The lid can be opened with one finger. - And that's obvious. Perfomance. Cons: - Colored WASD keys, arrows and Predator Sense. This gets confused with RGB, but the default blue looks great. (which I use) - The number pad is in the middle of the keyboard. Pretty annoying if you don't know your num lock is on for passwords. - Battery life. I was expecting this to be honest, so it didn't affect my experience much. The high demand made it difficult to obtain this device. I ordered with 2 day delivery and had to speak to 8 customer service reps at Revain before they shipped it from out of town. I'm still late. Holy cow Asher. This thing is full of all sorts of bells and whistles. It took me forever to figure out why my audio was sounding weird, it turned out to be the audio "enhancement" software that Acer had installed. Honestly, this was one of the biggest annoyances. If I didn't have to deal with Revain's device and malware sourcing issues, this would probably be 5 stars. I have been using the device for several days and I am very satisfied. I decided to buy this instead of the Razer Blade 15 RTX 2060 and I'm glad I did.

Pros
  • Expensive but worth it
Cons
  • Will do
