I like Levoit products and have a number of different Levoit products but I am disappointed with this humidifier model. At first I was happy to find this model as it is easy to use and allows you to add essential oils. However, I found this model unreliable and breaks down after a few weeks or months of use. I bought several and they all broke; they let water through and form puddles. The formation of pink mucus and the difficulty in clearing it are also confirmed by other reviews. For machines that have not passed the Revain return date, I return. One of my machines has expired (bought in August 2021), I contacted Levoit direct and customer service was easy to use and they send me a replacement machine. I don't think the replacement machine won't break again, but at least Levoit backs the one-year warranty.
