Review on Nespresso Essenza Mini Espresso Machine by Breville - Piano Black by Veronica Garcia

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love my Nepresso Essenza Mini!

I hadn't paid much attention to the obsession with coffee pods before but after using this machine at Airbnb where the owner was giving away free coffee I was hooked. I ordered one right away when I got home. I removed the large filter coffee maker and don't miss it at all. The packaging is beautiful, it brews excellent coffee and very quickly. Along with the car you will receive a promo code for $10 off your next purchase. I wish Nespresso pods were more widely available, like Keurig pods are in grocery stores. You'll need to find what may be the only Nespresso store in your state - if there is one - or order online. You pay approximately $0.70 per pack with a minimum order of 10 plus shipping, which is free when you order $35 or more. The capsules are recyclable, you can order free delivery in bags with a shipping label. I don't make espresso - I like what you would call a cup of Americano coffee. The Lungo button is easy to reprogram to make the amount of coffee I want, so I don't have to dilute it with hot water. This breaks a taboo for coffee drinkers, who say it makes the drink bitter. I haven't noticed this perceived problem, but maybe my tastes just aren't that picky, or I'm lightweight enough and prefer capsules on the lower end of the intensity scale (which ranges from 4 to 12). I ordered the kit that came with "Aeroccino" Foamer, but haven't used it yet as I prefer powdered milk - another *sigh* departure from purism. Making coffee with frothed milk would greatly increase the time it takes to get a cup of coffee, and I love how quickly I get down a cup when I do it the way I do, so skip the coffee -Nazis fall. My Essenza Mini was a bit long for the tray I use so I put a block underneath so it could sit over the tray edge. Save some money and don't buy capsule holders on the Nespresso website or even here at Revain. I also got a very inexpensive clear plastic container from the grocery store to keep a few capsules on my coffee tray. In conclusion, I would highly recommend OriginLine over VertuoLine for the following reasons: Capsule vs. Some say that the pressure of the pump makes the espresso more authentic. YMMV.3) Virtuo machines only use barcoded capsules to prevent tampering.4) You can prepare "Gran Lungo - Americano" on original machines by reprogramming the Lungo button as mentioned above.5) OriginaLine- Entry-level machines are cheaper and simpler, since there are only two coffee options: Espresso (1.35 oz) and Lungo (3.7 oz) with factory settings that can be changed. right here on Revain (disclaimer: I haven't tried it yet). VertuoLine is much newer, so there are NO third-party options at this time - almost certainly the main reason for its introduction. Penetration, especially in Europe, and will let too many customers down.
