I have a smaller new laptop without a keypad, but I really need a keypad to enter in lots of numbers. This one is great because it has a "Tab" key as well as an "Enter" key. Very helpful with programs like Quicken. I'm not the fastest keypad person on the planet, but even so, the #2 key misses 4 out of 5 times, even if I slow down <--sort of ruining the whole point of getting a keypad in the first place. I did not return it because I already trashed the box. It's OK, a good size, and the other keys work really well.
