I work as a bartender in a fairly busy restaurant and cocktail bar. I bought this shaker set specifically so I could double the egg white margarita recipe which is about 10-11 ounces without the ice. No one has time for a dry shake, so I just shake out the crap and strain. The capacity of the small 18 ounce can makes this possible. The weight at the bottom of each can gives almost empty cans stability when placed on the rack and also keeps the cans well balanced when you turn them in the palm of your hand or (God forbid) toss them in the air. Banks have a perfect seal. I've trained a few new bartenders and they sometimes need help opening glasses after shaking them, but technique is all that matters. Two sets at once is a bit stressful. But in operation you have to do what you have to do and in my opinion the durable tin feel is worth the extra weight. Also, my biceps are hot now. The only negative is that they are not copper plated, not just for washing hands or other pretentious nonsense. jokingly. Bought once and immediately ordered a second set. I'm considering buying one for home use. Highly recommended.
