Just unpacked and put it in my little laptop. (Sorry, the picture is upside down?) The first impression is similar to denim, but with a thick outer shell. The inside is the softest plush I could wish for in a duvet. The front pockets are only half, so wide but not deep. If your charger is smaller, it will fit. If the charger is an old-style thick big box, dueling cords, thick cord, you may need to separate the cord and use each bag for each half. The front pockets are not lined down like the laptop sleeve. My laptop is 11.6" and I ordered a 13" case. I ordered a size up because I didn't want to be too tight. Seeing now I might go with a smaller case. The next size case is bigger, roomier and makes it easier to pack and unpack the laptop so I can keep what I have. The blue color on the Amazon picture really matches the color. The zippers feel thick and durable. Waterproof? I have no idea and don't intend to test this specifically, but it probably wouldn't hurt to add a layer of duct tape.
