Gold is a great company with great customer service and quality products at fair prices but this rash guard didn't work for me. I'm just shy at 5ft 10 inches and 175 pounds with a mesomorphic body type. I tried this rashguard in large and extra large sizes and both were too narrow for my trunk. Aesthetically it looked really cool, but the neckline was a little wider for my liking (exposing too much cooler bone). In terms of quality, it's definitely better than the normal Under Armour/Nike compression shirt, but not as soft and thick as my Rashguard Grips. However, for $35, the quality is definitely good. I will continue to keep BJJ gold at the top of my list when shopping for BJJ items, but this ill-advised defense just didn't suit my body type and personal preferences. It might have been different for me if I had a slightly thinner hull and/or preferred thicker rashguards.
