I hate these screws.
The tips on them can be sharp and pointy, but they don't bite. Many times I've driven one of these screws and it's just twisted and twisted and not twisting into the wood itself. They usually tap it with a hammer or something to set it in place. The bat they put in each box is also a piece of junk with a terribly sloppy fit.
