By deglove I mean take off the glove, not something that comes up when searching the internet. remove the ice from the car, remove the car from the driveway (interact with the car's touchscreen), clear the driveway, drink coffee without gloves, go to the liquor store (via the car's and phone's touchscreens), return home (use the the touchscreens). The result is that in the index fingers of the gloves is something that works with touchscreens. There is nothing similar on the thumbs and other fingers. This makes zooming two-handed, which is better than taking your gloves off when it's bloody cold. They are also fully functional, keeping hands warm and gloves dry. There are tension straps at the bottom of the wrist and an adjustable "tight" cord at the top. Haven't used them. The gloves fit great. There are elastic laces to attach the gloves to the jacket. I didn't use it, I hid it in a glove (there is no special pocket). It was a bit annoying at first, but then I forgot about it. There are small pockets on the top of the gloves, ideal for storing ID and money (or a credit card) for a drink.
