This 200-watt warehouse light is in my art studio. I plugged it right into a switched outlet; 3 wires were easy to attach to the 3-pronged plug provided, and I'm not good with tools. There is a metal wire with clasp for additional secure attachment included. I didn't use the included dimmer. This weighty, structurally significant lamp has an integrated hook, which easily and conveniently securely attaches the device to any stable ceiling hook or similar fixture.Once switched on, it has an amazingly intense beam of pure white light that floods the entire painting area with more illumination than I need. Its metallic substrate and shape seems to dissapate the heat; it's 2.4 amps. The intensity of the broad shower of illumination seems to be generated by much more than 200 w.Although the cost should be lower, I'm really happy so far. (I'm watching every penny, like most artists.)This piece of equipment is expertly designed, packaged perfectly, is very cool looking, solidly built, made in China of all high-quality, durable materials, has sealed containers, and serves my purposes completely--more than adequately.I'm really delighted with this product; it serves my purpose and makes my studio look much larger and brighter.I'd definitely recommend for large and small work spaces.Turn on the lights!
