If you don't have a tumble dryer or don't like using it, you need an ironing dryer. I am such a person; I prefer to air dry my clothes. I've tried different types of shelving from different years and this one turned out to be the best. The container is usually enough for all socks, underwear, etc. in one load, but I bought a second one for those overfill loads. The clips have good spring action and are easy to grip - lighter than clothespins. The spring-loaded hook at the top allows you to hang the stand from almost anything. (I move mine around to take advantage of the breeze.) It's also handy for projects like fixing objects with glue. I make repairs and then stretch it into the frame. I've had mine for over a year now. I leave it outside most of the time but not in direct sunlight. So far it seems to be very durable. I live in a humid climate and some plastics just degrade after a year. This Whitmor hanger is made of plastic (and metal springs) that hold up very well.
