I originally bought them to dry delicate items, but after a while I realized that they can easily hold a pair of jeans if you use more than two hooks. I bought this with my dryers. I figured using it for diaper bags, socks etc would save space on my shelf for larger items. I was right. It's plastic. Sometimes the clips fall off as is only when I move it and try to rotate the pieces. It doesn't matter much. They turn back on. I really like it! The setting is convenient.
