I bought this with my dryers. I figured using it for diaper bags, socks etc would save space on my shelf for larger items. I was right. It's plastic. Sometimes the clips fall off as is only when I move it and try to rotate the pieces. It doesn't matter much. They turn back on. I really like it! The setting is convenient. I pin my socks in pairs (takes up less space and makes picking easier), twist the clip, and drip as needed. If you don't have enough items to fit all the pins, you'll need to balance something or you'll clip and drip. Nothing bad and expected. I just have a minor obsessive-compulsive disorder. It easily attaches directly to the shower curtain rod. The clips are conveniently placed so they dry all day even with a pair of socks in the middle of winter. In summer this time is halved or in winter next to a wood stove (not too close). It seems well done. I assume it will last quite a long time. I give five stars because I like it.
