I've had two of these for years and really like them. I originally bought them to dry delicate items, but after a while I realized that they can easily hold a pair of jeans if you use more than two hooks. Living in a cramped apartment, I could hang two of these on a shower curtain rod and dry most of my laundry at the same time. I realize I load a smaller load than a lot of people, so I'd say that for me the entire wash was about 1 average load spread across 2 of them, with some creative Tetris work. The things that didn't fit were basically things I needed to dry anyway, so I never thought I'd have to get a third one. I originally bought them in 2005, now it's 2012 and both are running fine. For apartments where all you need to do is dry the shower curtain rod, you can't beat them. For everyone else, they're great for outdoor hanging, closet hanging, and curtain rod hanging. Basically just hanging clothes in places you might never have thought of hanging laundry.
