Good bright and adjustable soft light with high light output is not easy to find. These lamps fit perfectly and have made my living room bright and cozy. The only reason the overall score isn't a 5 is because of the installation. In order to keep the light in the jar you have to make sure the feathers fit in those tiny vertical holes, which is pretty tricky. It took up to 30 minutes to install each lamp. Finally found a way to do it. Take a 12 inch wooden or plastic ruler, cut out a V shape at the end and use this as a guide to insert the springs into the holes. Options are very limited.
