Bioluz LED Brightest Equivalent - UL Listed Review

Great Flashlights. Easy to install, individual packaging and protection, excellent quality. Good dimming range. High-quality LED dimmer installed. No buzz. Goes well with HALO can lamps. The most important thing is that the light should be warm, like incandescent lamps. Immediate activation. When it's fully on, it's very bright. Installed throughout the basement. I like them so much I'm including them in the rest of the house as well. Too bad they came in packs of 12 or more.

I wish I had zero stars. The levers that tension the can and are attached to the side of each light were not connected when I opened the first box. I connected them and tried to install the light. I have experience with them. Clamping levers released again. This product is very poorly designed and will not last very long. I like the cut, the color and the light in general. My only issue, as another reviewer mentioned, was that the spring could pop out. It is not securely attached to the bracket on the lantern. I would recommend carefully pre-bending the spring before installing it. A better mechanism is needed to attach the spring to the flashlight body. Otherwise it's a great light! To update. If you have a 6 inch LED that uses this type of bracket you should have no problem replacing this product. A bit awkward to attach, but that's the nature of the beast. If you have good access to a hole in the ceiling you shouldn't have too much trouble. Good bright and adjustable soft light with high light output is not easy to find. These lamps fit perfectly and have made my living room bright and cozy. The only reason the overall score isn't a 5 is because of the installation. A few years ago I stocked my house with a few hundred 6 inch cans of Bioluz. A few of them burned out after just a few years (which shouldn't have happened since their expected lifespan is 30 years). So I re-ordered 3 packs of eight, enough to make up for all the shortcomings for 30 years. I bought these to replace eight incandescent (R30) bulbs installed over 30 years ago. I removed the old inner canisters and replaced them with new 6" Remodel LED Can Air Tight IC lights for the built in LED lighting. These new LED lights fit these canisters very easily. Now an LED dimmer. Only gripe is that the round flange outside the lamp area is not wide enough for my purposes, the old fixture had a much wider flange and I suspect that is why the ceiling material was just as accurate as this
