These fasteners were installed on a 2000 Ultra Classic about 2 months ago. They stayed locked, but I always locked them before a trip. Today both locks are stuck making it impossible to unlock one. In addition, the weak key bent when trying to open it. I had to untie the straps of my backpack to get inside. I don't know what to do with the unlock. You may need to find a locksmith. I can't believe they both failed at the same time and because of such a primitive locking system. Beware. As soon as I open them, they detach and come back. Unreliable.
