This is a cover. on differential covers
Not much: it's a cover. It has a magnet inside and comes with a gasket as shown in the picture. Looks strong enough. On most models, the filler plug is located on the right hand side near the front of the differential case. It has a square notch that fits into the end of a 3/8 inch ratchet. This cover has no plug. Torque specifications from the 1994 manual: - Cover screws: 20 lb-ft. - Gas cap: 18 lbs. ft. Vehicle: 1994 K2500 Suburban 9.5" RG 4:10 Rear Axle (RPO NA4, GT5, G80)
