The placed screen is excellent.
I bought it to raise the screen of my laptop a bit. This took it to a much better height for me. You can raise the front a little or not at all. If I don't lift the front, I can use my keyboard without any problems. I have a wireless mouse, so I rarely use the mouse pad on my Mac Book.
