Review on Cooler Master Tempest GP27U: High Refresh Rate, Swivel Adjustment, Adaptive Sync, IPS Display by Jesse Martinez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with this mini led display

In a few months this review will be updated, positive or negative. Positive - INNOCOOL/CM was a pleasure to deal with. I had a problem with my order and they kept in touch with me all the time until it was solved. - Revain CS primarily caused a mess by promising that XYZ would happen in a few steps. They got it wrong every time, luckily a third party stepped in again and took care of it. - Ad - Looks great! I would compare getting a "real" HDR10 display from an Alienware UW SDR like DVD > BluRay. - HDR - HDR10 movies are incredible, HDR native games are incredible, Auto HDR is pretty cool, and W11 native HDR is a bit annoying and inconsistent. However, it's not CM's fault. (hint win/alt/b = toggle HDR on and off) - Price - I think the price is ideal and even a bit lower than it should be for such a high quality display. I have 0 dead pixels and the update test went great. - Color calibration. This monitor comes out of the box with color calibration, including a printout of the results. Great touch. In my view. Negative sides. This monitor will receive a firmware update in early/mid November. Via CM rep on Reddit. My 5 star rating is based on the assumption that the following will be fixed. - Currently you cannot enable local dimming and async. See above, I'm not worried.
