When I first opened this I was a little nervous about having to assemble everything but it was so easy! There was an instruction to help you if you're nervous like me. It took me quite a long time to assemble it and I even changed it 3 times to find the best configuration for me. I like the way it looks! There is no natural light in my room so I need something to illuminate it but not too much. This is soft yet bright lighting perfect for my room. And it's so great! I love that I can easily decide to change up the look when I need a new shape but still have the lighting I want. I think it would be great in an older child's room that is mature enough to have one. I would be concerned that a younger child would try to take it apart while plugged in and hurt themselves. This is definitely a topic that will draw attention and become something that others will talk about. Mom noticed right away and she loved it!
