This card must be counterfeit or defective. Unfortunately, I'm the type of person who buys tons of things up front when I need them for projects in my company. This $289 256GB 1066x card performs like a 20 year old card. It only records low quality videos for about 5 seconds. When I try to take photos it only takes 5 or so and then stops typing. and I don't shoot in burst mode. It takes about 8 full seconds to write a photo. Something is wrong with my $300 memory card. If I switch to another (slower) card, it writes much faster and can record video. Only this card gives me a question. I am using it for the first time since I bought it 5 months ago. This is fundamentally unsuitable.
