This card must be counterfeit or defective. Unfortunately, I'm the type of person who buys tons of things up front when I need them for projects in my company. This $289 256GB 1066x card performs like a 20 year old card. It only records low quality videos for about 5 seconds. I am using a CF card for a Canon 5DM4 DSLR. I know it's very awkward with everyone abandoning ship to go mirrorless and the trend is going in that direction at Canon, Sony and even Nikon. I use it for an old DSLR. The capacity of the CF card suits me. with 5DM4 in high-resolution JPEG mode.

I use it as a secondary drive on a very good laptop but is somewhat limited by the capacity of the C: drive. So I use it for storing documents, graphics and other data, but not for intensive read/write operations. Seems to be working fine replacing the old card with a 64GB card from the same manufacturer. Good product at a good price.
