Life in the Gulf Northeast is mostly closed in winter. Now I can train in the winter months. The rug rolls and rolls easily. I use it over carpet. Practice punching up to 7.5 feet. The ball rolls smoothly without bouncing. Since I can't afford a regular simulation golf schedule, this is a way to stay in the game. I was really surprised how faithful to live golf the ball behaved on the mat. Since I've retired I see myself pulling out the golf mat at least 3-5 times a week. I hope that my number of putts per round will decrease with the constant training in the winter. I recommend this as an affordable way to stay golf this winter.
