although it appears to be a fairly good machine (only used for a short time)

Attention buyers: although it appears to be a fairly good machine (only used for a short time) you might think that it prints duplex duplex -Scanning (scanning from two sides) BUT it's not; You need to buy an MFC-L8900CDW to use this feature; I should have asked a question, not SUSPECT; I bought it for 1 machine to print/scan/copy; something of an expensive lesson.
