Great replacement for Ellington fan control box

Years ago when I was building my house we bought an Ellington fan for our living room. After 2 years, the included wall switch started hissing every time I turned the fan off with the switch on the bottom of the control box. The control unit eventually failed and stopped controlling the fan. I stumbled across this Fanimation control box and installed it with the same cable configuration as the Ellington switch and indeed I'm back in business. This unit was the perfect replacement for my 7 button control box.
