I'll admit I was hesitant when I bought my first pair of MudGear socks - I'm used to buying socks in multi-packs where you can buy 10 pairs for less than a pair! But when doing an obstacle course or just running, these socks offer phenomenal support. My (aging) calves will really feel the difference when I go running without MudGears. It's also psychologically very reassuring to put on a tight pair of compression stockings before you run. It's like telling my body, 'OK, now it's time. We're going to go and do it." Who knew socks would motivate me? Yet it is. The company is great too - when I broke a sock on an obstacle course, they sent me a new pair for free. The This wasn't even due to a defect in the sock - OCR just has a huge impact on everything you wear. If I hadn't been wearing my MudGears it would have likely torn the calf, not the sock. Great product - if you are ask you to try a pair, you really should, they are worth it!
