The ointment would have worked just like hydrocortisone, but again

For about six months I had what I now know as blepharitis. During this time I went to my doctor who prescribed me hydrocortisone. I used it but it kept coming back and I didn't want to keep putting it on my eyelid! From then on I went to an optometrist to see if it was an eye problem. He gave me steroid eye drops, antihistamine eye drops, and then regular eye drops. Again, this was a temporary fix and the problem will return. Went to a dermatologist who gave me tacrolimus ointment and allegra. The ointment acts like hydrocortisone, but comes back again. My last station was at the ophthalmologist. He was utterly useless telling me to just keep using the tacrolimus as it 'works' and that the problem will never go away so just keep using the ointment. lot of effort to do your own research and find out what cloths were used. They were quite expensive ($40) and someone mentioned Ocusoft as a cheaper but effective alternative. I bought them a month ago and haven't had flare-ups since! It used to come back very regularly every 1-2 weeks after using tacrolimus. Not now. I just can't understand how none of the four doctors I saw could offer these simple wipes, ugh! Either way, so yeah, super effective.
