This compression tester is easy to use and quickly shows over the condition of your bottles or the quality of your recovery. I recently converted a Honda Civic and during a compression test the readings were initially fine (over 100psi) per cylinder (dry compression results). However after a few cranks all readings have dropped to zero, at first I thought the sensor was broken but it was absolutely fine, my timing belt slipped causing the cam timing to fail and the valves were open at the TDC hence the reason. for zero compression. After adjusting the time, I repeated the test and got good results. The o-rings on the spark plug terminal are also extremely durable for a mechanic who has to do repeated compression testing. The quick connect/disconnect gauge also allows you to quickly connect the hose to the fitting without having to turn the gauge while filling. Overall great product.
