These shoes have been a real blessing for my 1 year old! He has big and wide legs! It would NOT fit in ANY tennis shoe, even one that was wide. His leg was too fat. The only shoes he could wear were a pair of Walmart sandals that had an adjustable top. They couldn't be super comfortable. Anyway, I put those shoes on him and he flew away! The fastest I've ever seen moving outside! BUT, as you see in the reviews. The shoe rope came out all the time. No big deal, I just pulled it back through the hole. Until he came out while playing and the pen broke apart. Transformed into a fluffy ball. So I had to unlace the top of the shoes, but that's okay.
