Everything worked great initially, held the phone in place, was pretty easy to use. He gradually lost traction on the rear-view mirror and continued to fall. Then the adjustable phone grippers became very stiff and lost their resilience. On closer inspection, the plastic was bent in various places and even melted in some places. We did have a heat wave a few weeks ago, but I didn't expect the plastic to melt. I had to buy another phone holder and throw this one in the trash. I had high hopes but they were disappointed.
