Bought for several projects this summer. Used it in high speed mode with a buffer wheel, in low speed mode with a hole saw to drill a dozen 3" holes in a 3/8" thick sheet of carbon steel. Using a low speed and a bi-metal hole saw blade with cutting oil helped. Have also used it for other smaller projects but this should give prospective buyers some perspective. Some reviewers complained that the speed dial was problematic. I've never had any problems with it. This bit is much more durable and has a better fit and finish than some of the more expensive saws in the $100+ price range. This drill is an amazing value. I bought this newer model (PC70THD) from Revain after visiting all the hardware stores (6) in my area and couldn't find a drill with this level of functionality.
