Smooth, non-slip texture and open back with some compromises

I've always wanted a good protective case with a bumper. Rhinoshield bumpers tend to be very expensive and just as bulky, and bumpers from other no-name brands tend to be of poor design or quality. This bumper is still my favorite although it does make some compromises. Materials: 8/10 This is a silicone bumper, which means it's made of plastic with a silicone outer layer that provides grip, is soft to the touch and is very light. It also means that lint and dust tend to stick, although this is typical of silicone cases. My only complaint about the material choice is the buttons - I wish they were more rigid plastic or free-floating so they're more comfortable to press. Fit and protection: 4/10. This case is free. My phone hasn't shown up yet, but it's close. The sides of the case have a definite slope which means the case is easy to put on and take off, but I don't think this case will protect against heavy drops. All in all, this design should handle small drops well. I just wish the sides weren't so loose, maybe they could be reinforced better. Design: 9/10It's THIN. This case isn't as bulky as the Rhinoshield variant, and it also lacks the annoying supcase bumper lip around the back, meaning it's comfortable to hold. As a bumper, it's easy to hold and allows you to appreciate the glass body of your device. In addition, you can use MagSafe accessories with this case, including a MagSafe charger and a wallet.

I’ve always used this type vs any hard case
