I bought it on the recommendation of the manufacturer of a leather sofa that I bought recently. This was used for my two leather sofas and other leather furniture. The skin stays nice and soft. Since then it has been successfully used on shoes, purses, belts. The best I've used in years. Also shared with a friend whose purse got soaked in the rain.
