Don't waste your money - the device may be good but who knows. It is restricted by PlayForSure's mandatory requirement to play all videos. In other words, if you want to watch a video that you *HAVE*, you need to convert it using ArcSoft's conversion utility. A simple film on a good PC with 4 GB memory lasts several hours! Who has the time or patience for that. I have a lot of MPG files that I wanted to transfer and play but couldn't easily copy. They had to be "converted" (read corrupted in this case with some copy protection. DRM hinders fair use and innovation. The whole point of these little devices is to allow playback anytime, anywhere - I suspect that this portable media Center can do that, but I'll never know, after a few hours I'm still waiting for the first converted file.
