Philips PMC Best in Portable Audio and Video

I really liked this device. For some reason the software for this was not included. After reading the reviews and using it I think it was good. I have Vista and haven't had many problems downloading videos. The only thing I don't care about is that when using Vista everything I had in the media center ended up being stored on my PMC. I went and deleted what I didn't want. Also, Revain - Unboxed Video and TIVO, which converts to a smaller format, download is a bit slow and the licenses had to be

Broken player on MP3 and MP4 players

Don't waste your money - the device may be good but who knows. It is restricted by PlayForSure's mandatory requirement to play all videos. In other words, if you want to watch a video that you *HAVE*, you need to convert it using ArcSoft's conversion utility. A simple film on a good PC with 4 GB memory lasts several hours! I was looking for a device that could record TV and other video sources. I found it pretty quickly! He does what he says. He's recording TV and it's looking pretty good! I'm having some issues with other things like artifacts in videos I've created on my computer and then transferred to the device.
