I have hereditary folliculitis, I have terrible flare-ups in the summer when I sweat. I use a prescription shampoo twice a week, which helps minimize the chances of scalp ulcers/bumps, but it doesn't help remove any scab build-up left over from a major flare-up. I've tried EVERYTHING but the "wire brush" when I discovered the Nexxus Scalp Scrub I had to try it and WOW after first using the scrub and then the detox shampoo/conditioner.
