Review on KMC 6-Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip: Clamp Mount Design, 7 Ft. Cord, 2.4A 2-Port USB Charging Station by Jesse Blair

design is perfect for what i need; I attached an extension cord to the edge of the table. However, I am having trouble charging my iPhones with this one. I use the power cord and plug that came with the iPhone when I plug it into the power strip and my phone charges normally. However, after you unplug the phone from the power strip, the charge drops from 100% to 20% for a few hours and then to 0% shortly after. This happens when I use plug-in charging or USB charging on the band. I have confirmed that this is not an issue with my phone as when I plug the phones into the wall outlet or into my laptop's USB charger the charge holds "normal". I've tested this on both my work iPhone and my personal iPhone. This product would have received 5 stars if I hadn't had a problem charging my iPhone.
