Incredibly easy to put on the drawing board. They sent two copies of the instructions, which made me laugh because it was so easy, but it was nice because that doesn't usually happen. They also sent 6 screws or bolts. It took three. It impressed me too. It didn't come with an Allen key, but I have so many because they go with everything else in the world. I had to move the tray to the right side (when sitting in the driver's seat) depending on where I need the table in my studio. This puts the "cup" pretty far away from me, but I don't need it near me just yet. I can always change it. This is the simplest thing and the simplest "piece of furniture" that can be assembled or added. that I ever had It doesn't swing, except for the cool "cup" that also crawls out. Holes for pens or brushes or whatever you happen to have is a piece of styrofoam with holes cut through. I will add the best photo when everything is in place.
