Review: ERGO TAB Full Motion TV Wall Mount Bracket for Most 13-55" Flat Curved Screen LED LCD TVs Recently, I enjoyed a small TV under 32" ; TV now hanging on the wall at a comfortable viewing height for me with the help of the ERGO Tab Full Motion TV Wall Mount and some effort on my part. So far I am very happy with the Ergo Tab TV Bracket. Upon opening the box, I realized that the design of the set falls into my "heavy duty" category, and even considering the individual parts, I never worried that the set wouldn't loosely hold the TV. The "build" -Project wasn't too complex; I just worked slowly, double checked what I was doing and it worked out in the end. I spent a few minutes trying to figure out the App reading the instructions that came with the set and also looked at the back of the TV to see what the configuration was like. will be needed. I found the instructions for the most part to be well written and relatively easy to follow. The only part of the instructions that caused me to re-read the section was the entry about the need/non-requirement for concrete anchors. On my first read it turned out that the instructions indicated that both anchor bolts and anchors should only be used on concrete (not wood), but on reflection I realized that anchor bolts would be used on wood and the anchors could thrown away as I didn't install the TV mount in a concrete or block wall. install extension cords. This saved me some time during the installation process, but I feel that even if I had to add levers, adding those levers would not be a problem as the kit includes all the nuts/bolts/screws etc that would need to be worked with a TV with a diagonal of up to 55 inches. Installing the backplate was easy until I realized that part of the backplate was covering some of the audio ports on the back of the TV; specifically the optical output I wanted to use. I've found that this "problem" must be specific to my smaller TV, as I can look at larger TVs or TVs with controls on a different part of the back of the TV (sides, top, etc.) so it won't be a problem . After experimenting with a few different configurations and using the spacers that came with it, I was able to securely attach the panel to the back of the TV, creating a gap of about two inches between the panel and the TV. I found that this extra space allowed me to position the optical cable the way I wanted. Installing the 2x4 wall mount portion of the project was probably the easiest part of the project. I held the bracket in place, marked where to drill the holes, and then drilled three pilot holes. After that I installed the hardware on a 2x4 using the screws that also came in the kit. Once the bracket was installed on the wall, I had to attach the mounting plate on the back of the TV to the swingarm on the bracket. There is a small notch at the end of the swing arm that 'helps' hold the TV in place while installing and tightening the up and down tilt adjustment screws, and this notch helped a bit. However, I didn't feel comfortable placing all of the TV's weight solely on that notch while trying to reach the back of the TV and tighten the screws, so for the only time on this project I decided to ask for help with the Holding the TV during final setup. Then it was just a matter of reconnecting the power cord/audio cable/streaming device to the TV and turning it on. Did. The TV is now at the correct height and I can now easily rotate it to point exactly where I want it. It wasn't a super complex project for me; I probably spent more time figuring out the best way to connect the plate to the back of the TV (considering I had to find the best way/better set of washers to create the 'gap') than any other part of the process. And now that the project is complete, I'm glad I chose the ERGO TAB Full Motion TV Wall Mount as the flexibility and ease of use of the device made the project easier and the price of the device was more than reasonable for me .
