Prepare several trips to the hardware store

It's not the destination that counts, but the journey. NOT RIGHT. In this case, that is exactly the goal. The final state where my projector sits nicely hidden under the ceiling with a remote control so it can be lowered is amazing. Installation? Not as much. It took us about 5 hours to install. To be honest, this includes measuring, cutting drywall, and finding solutions to problems that arose during our walk. The installation instructions are a joke. For real. Look, I understand that not everyone speaks English as their first language. It's not my mother tongue either. But if you are a manufacturing company, that sells consumer goods, one of the most important things is to have someone who speaks decent English to write your instruction manuals. The guide provided may have its own Netflix special. The lift itself is quite heavy but feels solid. Please note that you need to increase it if you want to test it before installing. See, it works based on gravity. The brackets that come with the bottom of the fairing will not fit. I ended up going to homedepot to develop another solution. The projector mounts didn't fit either (on my Epson Home Cinema 2150). I ended up using laptop screws to install it. But once installed, it's amazing and much cheaper than many similar products.
