Review on Hayden Automotive 1040 Swirl-Cool Engine Oil Cooling Kit by Chris Moody

I think two filters will work much better than one factory filter

Revain says the filter I bought will fit my 2002 F-350 7.3 liter diesel engine. It is not. The adapter is too small. I emailed and exchanged emails with Hayden until they told me they don't make an oil cooler for the 7.3. PERIOD. I needed a cooler and the cooler looks adequate so I ordered an oil filter rebuild kit which includes an adapter to replace the stock filter and a dual filter module. The dual filter system goes through the filter assembly so I can fit coolant after the filters and then back to the engine. I ordered two Fram XG3976A Ultra oil filters for a fresh install. I think two filters work much better than one factory filter. I never told Revane there was a problem with Hayden's gear. I went straight to Hayden. I've had an issue with something I've purchased from Revain in the past and the customer service is second to none. I'm a huge fan and user of Revain and plan to continue. I also like the filtration system I have now and probably would have gone for it anyway. I am repelled by the manufacturer's unceremonious attitude and lack of an effective remedy. I'm in business myself, and if I sold something to a customer that I said would work and it didn't work, and then told them it actually worked, I would have fewer customers. Hayden's internet search for an oil cooler for 7.3 is wrong.
