It is important to note that this is a FEEL satin scarf. This is not real satin. It's soft, but not as soft as real satin (because of the polyester). However, as a woman with type 4 curly natural hair, I can confirm that this is enough to protect your locks at night. I haven't noticed any drying out which is a plus. I've also applied it with a few twists in and out and the results are the same (as far as moisture in my hair is concerned). If I've missed something I'll come back and post an update.
